Background：
Serum amyloid A (SAA) is a highly conserved, acute-phase protein synthesized predominantly by the liver. During acute inflammation, serum SAA levels may rise up to 1000-fold. It is as sensitive a marker for the acute-phase as C-reactive protein (CRP). It has been suggested that SAA levels correlate better with disease activity in early inflammatory joint disease than do ESR and CRP. This antibody is specific to SAA positive human serum, not react with SAA negative samples, validated by Immunoturbidimetry and immunodiffusion. It is one of the best anti-SAA polyclonal antibody in the world, according to feedback from customers.
